In an effort to build a knowledge bridge between the Kurdistan Region and the ancient Chinese civilization, Mr. Yang Xiangdong* Vice President of the Beit al-Hikma Group for International Cultural Exchange, received Mr. Nabaz Mustafa Director of the Global Civilization Initiative Research Center, in Yinchuan, China.

This meeting was more than just a formal gathering; it marked the launch of a major strategic project titled the "Joint Chinese-Middle East Civilization Initiative." The primary goal of this step is to revive the spirit of the "Silk Road" through the translation of intellectual books, organizing annual forums, and utilizing modern technology for deeper mutual understanding.
Within this framework, a proposal was made to establish a branch of "Beit al-Hikma" in Erbil, to serve as a vibrant gateway for cultural and scientific exchange in the region. These efforts demonstrate that dialogue and coexistence are the only true paths to building a more peaceful and knowledge-rich world, where the Kurdistan Region emerges as a key hub for this human and civilizational connection.
